This was the second renovation we’ve completed for the family and this one involved a total transformation (which flipped the spaces from upstairs to downstairs!) The renovations applied to the home itself, but also included building a garage wing extension and perfecting the outdoor space.
Features of the home include Abodo timber finishes throughout, hardwood stairs and a double burner fireplace, which adds to the warmth and character of the home.
The indoor-outdoor flow is great for the beach setting of the property, and the open plan living leads out to beautiful decking and a swimming pool. A perfect area to relax and entertain.
As well as the extensive planning, project managing and quality craftmanship required, this renovation also involved extensive concrete cutting and steel work.
Susie and Paul Biddulph with their two children love where they live, but their two storey 1950’s home no longer catered for their busy and active lifestyle. This Mt Maunganui family wanted to bring their home into the modern area and make the best use of both the indoor and outdoor space.
The Biddulph’s knew what they wanted and had their design plans drawn up by local architectural designer Craig Flowerday.
Given the complete refurbishment of the home, this family of four rented while their home was being built. And continued on with their busy schedule of work, school and other commitments.
