‘Expand your horizons’ is a good way to describe the outcome of this renovation!
The house was extended out by one metre and the extra space this created was incredible. Also, having living spaces, a toilet and bathroom upstairs as well as downstairs, meant there is plenty of room; ideal for renting out or to use when family and friends come to stay. This renovation has in essence created two homes in one.
Features of this renovation include the exterior where the hardiplank was replaced with timber weatherboard. This one change alone transformed the look and feel of the home.
The ability to move from indoor to outdoor spaces was a priority. We were able to achieve this by well thought out landscaping and purpose-built decks both upstairs (a great entertaining space) and downstairs (ideal for the spa pool and easy to maintain gardens).
The team enjoyed using our full range of services in this project from design, through to construction and finishing off with decks and hard landscaping.
This large home was purchased by the owners as its configuration made it perfect for living upstairs, with the opportunity to rent downstairs.
However, the time came when this 1987 home was in need of a major makeover to modernise it and make it light, bright and fresh!
The owners had ideas of what they were wanting to change, including exterior and interior renovations, but asked for our help and creative input. We listened to what was required and suggested the best solutions for budget, style and practicality requirements.
The occupants of this home were able to continue with their day to day lives. They were able to remain living in the home while we completed the renovations.
